Who We Are
Mount Olives Community Center (MOCC) is a non-profit organization based in Hype Park, Boston. It’s led by Haitian immigrants and aims to reduce disparities in education and health by increasing access to services. MOCC supports immigrant families facing economic and social inequities, promotes cultural transition between generations, and has been collaborating with local agencies since 2019 to meet the needs of Haitian immigrants in the greater Boston area. The center is easily accessible via public transportation.

Financial Literacy Skills
Mount Olives Community Center (MOCC) is partnering with the Office for Refugees and Immigrants (ORI) to meet the needs of Haitian newcomers of this region.

We believe if we keep our young people busy after school or in our summer school; we can distract them from getting involved in activities that can get them in trouble with the law.
Social Skills
This is a self-empowerment program to help new immigrants build their self-confidence, so they can adapt well in their new environment. We achieve that goal through music.
